MY STORY

Neena, Registered Nurse (RN), Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

Neena, BSN, RN, IBCLC

I found myself grappling with the intense challenges of a highly active child born during the uncertain times of COVID lockdowns. Despite his early physical strength—rolling over on day one, military crawling within a month—my son’s boundless energy meant sleep was a rare commodity.

As a Registered Nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I was overwhelmed by the sea of contradictory advice online. It was clear that many parents and I needed a sleep training method that not only works but also supports breastfeeding.

Driven by my professional background and maternal instinct, I developed a unique sleep solution tailored to meet these needs. By the time my son was 7 months old, he was sleeping soundly for 12 hours straight in his crib without having to “cry-it-out”. And when my daughter arrived, by starting gentle techniques early on, she too was sleeping in her own cot shortly after we brought her home!

Now, as a mother of two, I’m excited to share that our bedtime routine has been a dream since when they were babies. A quick tuck-in with hugs and kisses, and it’s lights out for a solid 11 to 13 hours. Friends and family are amazed, and I know you will be too.
